The evening of the final day of May saw current and former colleagues come together at Old Anniesland to celebrate the School’s 900th anniversary with a Staff and Former Staff Homecoming Gathering.  

It was a fantastic opportunity to welcome back to the School many familiar faces who have been a part of the High School in recent decades to celebrate alongside those currently raising the high tradition before they too pass it gloriously on.  

Former staff members in attendance included colleagues from Old Anniesland and Ledcameroch Road, as well as several who taught at the former boys’ school located on Elmbank Street. 

Live music was provided by pupils and the sun shone down on the Old Anniesland playing fields, marking a truly splendid occasion. Across the evening, there were plenty of opportunities to reminisce about days gone by, while hearing more about life at HSOG today from current staff!
