Class of 2012 mark 12 years since leaving HSOG
On the evening of Saturday 5th October, members of the Class of 2012 reunited in the Pavilion at Old Anniesland to mark a momentous 12 years since they bid a fond farewell to HSOG. With the Covid-19 pandemic putting a pin in the plans to celebrate their 10-year anniversary in 2022, the group of around 22 former pupils enjoyed the opportunity to catch up and take a trip down memory lane together back where it all began!
The reunion was organised by twins David Norris (former School Captain) and Johanna Norris (former Moore House Captain), with guests travelling from London, the Isle of Man and even Germany especially for the occasion.
Before sitting down to a three-course meal prepared by school caterers, Compass, guests were joined by some of their former teachers for a welcome drinks reception. Familiar faces who popped along to say hello were Mr Niall Campbell (Head of Modern Languages), Mr Phil Ford (Head of Sixth Form) and Mr Kenneth Robertson (Head of Senior School).
It was a joy to welcome everyone back and we hope you had a truly spectacular time!
We thoroughly enjoy welcoming our former pupils back to the School, so if you’re considering hosting your own year group reunion please get in touch with us at community@hsog.co.uk to see how we can help. We’d love to hear from you!
